Development History
In the 1980s, farmers in Lecong left their farmland and started doing business on the streets. They set up stalls, manually weighed steel materials, and drafted contracts — becoming the pioneering force of the steel trading industry.
Around 1992, private steel trading companies emerged like bamboo shoots after a spring rain, gradually forming the Lecong Steel Market. Their products were sold across the country, earning a strong reputation for integrity and trustworthiness
In the 21st century, under the correct guidance of the government and the relentless efforts of Lecong’s steel traders, the Lecong Steel Market has been upgraded into Lecong Steel World — a national comprehensive metal trading and processing distribution center. Lecong Steel World, with its core focus on the steel trading industry, is committed to building a comprehensive global metal industry chain. It provides park merchants and buyers with one‑stop metal sourcing & processing services, as well as high‑end business conveniences.
1.Carbon Steel Trading Center
The Carbon Steel Trading Center consists of Zones A, B, C, and F, covering a total area of 975,000 square meters. It features a "front shop, back warehouse" layout, with warehouses using gantry cranes for loading and unloading. The center offers a wide range of steel products, including various steel plates, sections, pipes, and specialty steels — with over 10,000 product types. It is one of the most comprehensive and large-scale steel trading markets in China in terms of product variety and scale.
2.Stainless Steel New Town
The Stainless Steel New Town is located at the entrance of the Guangtai Expressway, in the northwestern part of the park. It covers a built-up area of 200,000 square meters. The merchants operating here offer over 1,000 types of in-stock products and professional processing services, including stainless steel sheets, bars, pipes, sections, fittings, as well as processing capabilities such as laser cutting, leveling, slitting, shearing, bending, welding, coil rolling, and grooving.
3.Hardware & Electromechanical City
With a total built-up area of approximately 25,000 square meters in its first phase, this is a dedicated supporting zone that completes the metal industry ecosystem of Lecong Steel World. The project became fully operational in July 2020, offering a wide range of products including hardware, electromechanical equipment, building materials, decorative parts, tools, safety supplies, and more.
4.Hardware, Pipe Fittings & Decoration City
With a total built-up area of approximately 25,000 square meters in its first phase, this is a dedicated supporting zone that completes the metal industry ecosystem of Lecong Steel World. The project became fully operational in July 2020, offering a wide range of products including hardware, electromechanical equipment, building materials, decorative parts, tools, safety supplies, and more.
5.Processing Center
Covering an area of 160,000 square meters, the Processing Center is equipped with world-class slitting lines, flying shear cut-to-length lines, turn-over machines, and packing machines — a full range of processing equipment. Its annual processing capacity reaches 10 million tons.
6.Warehousing Center
Covering an area of 220,000 square meters with a storage capacity of 1.5 million tons, the Warehousing Center is equipped with a customs bonded warehouse and a bank-supervised warehouse. It provides functions such as storage, distribution, consolidation, tallying, and delivery — making it one of the largest professional metal warehousing and distribution centers in China.
7.Lecong Steel World Industrial & Commercial Center
Covering a total area of approximately 33,000 square meters with a total built-up area of 109,660.16 square meters, the Industrial & Commercial Center is designed to create a metal headquarters industrial cluster and high end integrated business space. It consists of seven buildings. Building 1 houses the Lecong Steel World corporate headquarters, which includes a 730 m² multi function large conference hall with a capacity of nearly 500 people, suitable for various seminars, meetings, forums, annual conferences, and procurement matchmaking events. Buildings 2 to 7 are open for investment attraction in sectors such as office space and supporting services.

Integrated with the intelligent comprehensive management platform, the WMS Intelligent Public Warehouse adopts a unique first-in, first-out (FIFO) operating model, enabling smart dispatching and significantly reducing warehousing costs. At the same time, it provides real-time cargo monitoring to ensure the highest level of cargo safety.

Located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Hardware, Pipe Fittings & Decoration City in Lecong Steel World, the Lecui Valley covers an area of over 23,000 square meters. It is a private sports, arts and education complex integrating sports, education, leisure, and parent-child activities. The facility includes indoor venues such as a constant-temperature swimming pool, basketball courts, badminton courts, a gym, yoga rooms, dance studios, and Pilates classrooms. It also offers training programs including a children's growth center, an exploration learning center, and an elite training center, providing educational services such as STEAM education, artistic literacy, early childhood care and education, study tours, sports training, and corporate training.
